SEO Tips

1. Give stuff away. Does your company offer free samples of its product? Do you have any handy applications or an ebook you can let site visitors download for free? There are few more effective ways to get people to link to your site than to offer something for nothing.

2. Share useful information. Links are commonly used to share information, so putting useful information on your site, such as articles or how-to guides will help draw links.

3. Connect with your community. This can be either your geographic community or a community based on your industry. Sponsoring an event at a local charity, interviewing an industry expert and posting the interview on your site or writing articles and blog entries for others to post can all bring inbound links.

4. Reach out to the blogosphere. Bloggers are always looking for new ideas, new websites to link to, and new products to write about, and they can be a great source of link love.

5. Use good old-fashioned PR. Getting mentioned in the press is good for your company in many different ways, and one of them is that online publications may include links to your site or your information if your company is mentioned in an article.

How to Hurt your SEO

It’s important to be aware of what hurts SEO. For one, using “blog blasting” or other Free-For-All link services are poison for your reputation – don’t use them. As we keep mentioning, don’t purchase backlinks- search engines are known to blacklist entire networks of purchased backlinks. Also, doing anything deceptive or tricky (Black Hat) in anyway will result in your site becoming penalized, or worse, banned from the search engines entirely. Having pages with weak or minimal amounts of content also hurts the overall equity and value of the website. Every page should be valuable and interesting to the visitors who see it. We’ve also learned (from experience in the late 90’s) that keyword stuffing doesn’t help either – keep it legit and real and you’ll get real result.

Stupid SEO company also can ruin all your good work, trying to save money by hiring offshore company will ruin your SEO plan.

We keep telling Jordanian e marketing managers, google ..Read ..Learn then give us a call , and you will totally understand the bill plus our rate.

Remember : if its so good to be true, then there is something wrong !

why i will charge you 100jd per month, when all others charge 500 jd ?

New Blood

As 2010 is bringing slow but steady growth, we are in the middle of restructuring our business model, with a focus on starting three new divisions  under the Aigcmiddleast brand as separate companies, with Aigcmiddleast as the parent company.

We are still ahead of the game. But the new expansion will allow us to be free to run and enjoy new adventures.

April 2010 will be the official launch of the new three divisions. Aigc middleast will own 100% share on all new divisions, as partnership is not an option we could walk with in Middle east.

I will step down from being COO of Aigc Middleast by April, and will be ready to return to Aigc Northamerica as regional manager for the southern and western regions of the United States.

Our new hiring process will start by mid of march , we are looking for 5 new members to join… So if you are looking to join , keep running by  this blog.

Scamming Jordan companies for SEO services

Morning Jordan, ( 6:37 am ..been up from 2  hours, ask Omar Shobaki from imagine )

When we started business in Jordan that was Nov 2008, in that time when we started calling to know the interest in SEO or social media , %95 of  companies we call were like hearing Chinese talking to them !

Feb 2009, when we established the company ( official papers ), 1 from 25 companies, somehow got what we were offering, and these end to be our partners, which we until now do business with.

August 2009, we start hearing some companies, trying to get money from their clients by offering what we call SIMPLE SEO PLANS.

But as usual if you are not good in building sites ! or lets say it: you are web1.o company how the hell you will sell SEO !

Fast track to This day ! the le web shipping of companies , we know will not come in good !

Guess what ? the headache didn’t come from these companies ! it was from abroad INDIANS ! YEP Because we didn’t have enough of them in Europe or America ! they are landing in JORDAN .

BRING IT ON LOSERS ! IT’S SOMETHING YOU CAN’T BEAT US ON ..BECAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LACK OF IMAGINATION

So a new client on the door, the client is so exicted about having social media campaign, but :

1. He is not planning to tweet as much as you have in mind.

2. He is not into facebook applications .

3.The idea of blogging once per week sounds like heavy load.

4.The team he is hiring to help you worse than him ….

WHAT YOU CAN DO ?

Future of the web and SEO

Search engine optimization may become less important in the future as Internet users rely more on recommendations and social media to find information. Already, people are asking questions on Twitter and Facebook instead of Google. This means that high-quality content and usability will become ever more important, because users are more likely to recommend a website if they have found it easy to use and useful. Also, search engines themselves will be smarter, meaning they’ll be able to better discern a Web page’s usefulness to a particular user.

I ran today by this quote, it’s kinda true if you run scam business ! or you push scam sites by doing blackhat methods !
But let’s compare 2 companies offering business card , both real , both legitimate business,
How you will bring B on no.1 and A down of it ?
Some people don’t get the full case..and that quote with respect didn’t get real case of SEO !

  • Some thinking have title ..voila we are done.
  • Some think adding couple of lines or stuffing on each page ..voila so so seo.

Some don’t even think!

Social Media for companies

A lot of companies are trying to get on the social media bandwagon. You might have two companies, both wanting to leverage the power of social media but one gets it right and the other struggles.

The biggest shift for a lot of companies is to make sure your mindset is outward-in rather than inward-out. In the past you’d have marketing divisions that sit for a year and scope out what’s going to be their next message, and sit behind closed doors and think they have all the answers, when the answers are actually now on their fingertips externally. Their customers are more than happy to provide what their needs are. So that’s the biggest shift is one company that’s thinking outward-in is going to beat the company that’s thinking inward-out. That’s a huge paradigm shift.

The other piece is to keep the investment relatively light, because you’re not going to get it right the first time, so it’s important to be flexible and to adjust accordingly. Coca Cola gets a lot of things right but they jumped into Second Life thinking it was the next best thing and it was great, but they jumped into it a little too much. They didn’t go in with a light approach, and so they spent tons of money and then they only had about 30 people come to visit this pavilion that they built within Second Life. Some of the stuff is changing quickly so it’s important to be as light as possible and adjust quickly.

A great term to use is Beta. Google uses Beta a lot when they’re doing their stuff. From a tax purpose you can write that off as an investment.

Banning social media in the work place is:

* Analogous to banning the Internet
* Analogous to banning the phone because you might make a personal phone call
* Analogous to banning paper and pens because you might pass a note that is not related to class or work
* Could potentially signal to current workers and future recruits that your company just doesn’t “get it”
“People who do surf the Internet for fun at work – within a reasonable limit of less than 20% of their total time in the office – are more productive by about 9% than those who don’t,”

This post  was copied from somewhere and we forget , but we find it really interesting to share .

automate your business, but not your social media campaign

rethink use

Because we work with so many business owners & entrepreneurs , we know that one of the greatest things that you can do for your company is…automate it!

You see, far too many small business owners are trying to do the work of an army. They believe if they simply work harder, longer, and faster they will be able to achieve anything. And often times they can do amazing things on their own. But at some point they get sick or tired or too stressed to handle anything else in their life. Not to mention the fact that their personal lives have been completely overrun by their business.

That is why you have to understand the power of an automated system. When you put your sales and marketing on autopilot, you can:

  • Send out mass marketing in seconds (and automatically)
  • Slice and dice your database instantly (to create more targeted messages)
  • Process online sales and charge credit cards (without any help from you)
  • Keep track of ALL your contacts (and retrieve information immediately)

Have more time to yourself

Hire less employees (even have none if you don’t want them)

And ultimately…make more money!

GOOD ?

BUT DON’T WHATEVER USE THESE TIPS, FOR SOCIAL MEDIA ..EVER …AGAIN NEVER EVER..

not having twitter is so much better for company, or your small business than having auto spam tweeting api …

or worse autopilot blogging !

want to use SOCIAL MEDIA?

  • Tweet once per day ..one  linked tweet per 2-5 tweets not all tweets with links !
  • Blog once a week 3-5 lines.
  • Update your facebook page once per 10 days, it’s ok to link it with twitter .

Criticize SEO !

WHO ? WHAT ? HOW?

BUT ..
They’re listening to the wrong people. It’s easy to form a bad opinion of just about anything if you listen to the wrong people. Just as in social media, there are plenty of people in the SEO world who promulgate myths, misstate facts and make sweeping proclamations. These things aren’t always done intentionally but the harm is done regardless. Unfortunately, the people who are most apt to do these things are often the ones who have the time to hog the spotlight and are most visible to newbies.

They’re lazy. SEO is hard work. From learning the basics to staying abreast of the latest trends to actually applying your knowledge in practice, SEO, like most things worthwhile, requires hard work and an investment of time. Out of all the people who criticize SEO, how many do you really think have actually made a reasonable effort to see what SEO can do for them?

They’re full of nonsense. A lot of the people who criticize SEO don’t really believe what they say. Take Jason Calacanis, for instance. He’s said some pretty mean things about SEO yet his company, Mahalo, is basically an SEO play. And uses some pretty aggressive tactics at that.

If you can’t convince them, confuse them.

Organic SEO

“When people refer to “organic SEO” (search engine optimization), they almost always use it as a blanket term to describe the unpaid, algorithm-driven results of any particular engine. However, a sophisticated search engine optimization company will often take the meaning of “organic” one step further. ”

To such companies, the “Organic SEO” is essentially 2 Things (but not only). These are

  • What shows up in the “natural” search engine results
  • Methodologies used to achieve such rankings, such as great content and utilizing social media like Blogs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Technorati, Reddit, Digg, Stumbleupon and other types of social media

Artificial SEO

A search engine optimization company using “artificial SEO” will ask, “How can I get links pointing to this site without adding anything of value to it?” The latter approach usually leads to reciprocal linking schemes, link farms, the purchase of text links, and more—anything except making changes to the Web site that entice others to link to the site without the link being reciprocated, without paying the Web site owner, or without asking “pretty please.” There is a stark contrast between “Organic SEO” and “Artificial SEO.” Of course, any decent search engine optimization company will make certain that a site is listed in all the popular directories, such as the Yahoo Directory, the Open Directory Project, and Business.com. A good search engine optimization company will also continually seek any industry specific directories where your site should be listed. But truly using “organic SEO” means evolving your site into something that holds actual value to your prospects. In my opinion, this is much more beneficial in the long run than the artificial methodology of trying to garner incoming links that the site does not truly deserve.”

SEO tips

Here are 3 Mini SEO Tips

  1. Include a keyword in that attribution link. Stop linking your company name only and at least include the “Website Designed” portion. Even better, use something like “Designed by: Company Name – A New York Web Design Company.”
  2. Once you design a few sites with your keyword-rich attribution link, change the wording. It doesn’t need to be drastically different, but create some variation. Do this periodically.
  3. Create a pre-sale page on their site that features a testimonial and links back to your site. Then, link to this pre-sale page site-wide from the footer of their design. This will help you avoid the negatives of the run of site links, while getting a link from a page with a lot of internal PageRank flowing to it.
