automate your business, but not your social media campaign

rethink use

Because we work with so many business owners & entrepreneurs , we know that one of the greatest things that you can do for your company is…automate it!

You see, far too many small business owners are trying to do the work of an army. They believe if they simply work harder, longer, and faster they will be able to achieve anything. And often times they can do amazing things on their own. But at some point they get sick or tired or too stressed to handle anything else in their life. Not to mention the fact that their personal lives have been completely overrun by their business.

That is why you have to understand the power of an automated system. When you put your sales and marketing on autopilot, you can:

  • Send out mass marketing in seconds (and automatically)
  • Slice and dice your database instantly (to create more targeted messages)
  • Process online sales and charge credit cards (without any help from you)
  • Keep track of ALL your contacts (and retrieve information immediately)

Have more time to yourself

Hire less employees (even have none if you don’t want them)

And ultimately…make more money!

GOOD ?

BUT DON’T WHATEVER USE THESE TIPS, FOR SOCIAL MEDIA ..EVER …AGAIN NEVER EVER..

not having twitter is so much better for company, or your small business than having auto spam tweeting api …

or worse autopilot blogging !

want to use SOCIAL MEDIA?

  • Tweet once per day ..one  linked tweet per 2-5 tweets not all tweets with links !
  • Blog once a week 3-5 lines.
  • Update your facebook page once per 10 days, it’s ok to link it with twitter .

Criticize SEO !

WHO ? WHAT ? HOW?

BUT ..
They’re listening to the wrong people. It’s easy to form a bad opinion of just about anything if you listen to the wrong people. Just as in social media, there are plenty of people in the SEO world who promulgate myths, misstate facts and make sweeping proclamations. These things aren’t always done intentionally but the harm is done regardless. Unfortunately, the people who are most apt to do these things are often the ones who have the time to hog the spotlight and are most visible to newbies.

They’re lazy. SEO is hard work. From learning the basics to staying abreast of the latest trends to actually applying your knowledge in practice, SEO, like most things worthwhile, requires hard work and an investment of time. Out of all the people who criticize SEO, how many do you really think have actually made a reasonable effort to see what SEO can do for them?

They’re full of nonsense. A lot of the people who criticize SEO don’t really believe what they say. Take Jason Calacanis, for instance. He’s said some pretty mean things about SEO yet his company, Mahalo, is basically an SEO play. And uses some pretty aggressive tactics at that.

If you can’t convince them, confuse them.

SEO tips

Here are 3 Mini SEO Tips

  1. Include a keyword in that attribution link. Stop linking your company name only and at least include the “Website Designed” portion. Even better, use something like “Designed by: Company Name – A New York Web Design Company.”
  2. Once you design a few sites with your keyword-rich attribution link, change the wording. It doesn’t need to be drastically different, but create some variation. Do this periodically.
  3. Create a pre-sale page on their site that features a testimonial and links back to your site. Then, link to this pre-sale page site-wide from the footer of their design. This will help you avoid the negatives of the run of site links, while getting a link from a page with a lot of internal PageRank flowing to it.

Script your seo marketing !

Whether you are still presenting your products “face-to-face,” or have embraced the benefits of webinars and online demonstrations, here is one technique that continues to drive results: use a selling script.

Every time you approach a prospect or customer, you should be prepared with a powerful and proven marketing script.

It seems to be unfashionable today to talk of sales scripts, but statistics overwhelmingly prove that a practiced presentation massively outperforms one that’s simply delivered off the cuff. Yes, whether you’re selling face-to-face or online, you need to be flexible and be able to cope with things that crop up, but you should not allow them to divert you from your main flow.

You must remember that your interaction with your prospects is a sales presentation and not a chat around the coffee table with your buddies. The purpose of your webinar, online demo, or meeting is to sell and make you money! And as sales is a process not an event, your process – your sales presentation – should be carefully planned, constructed, practiced, and delivered. Use a sales script because:

  • It makes your message consistent.
  • The results can be measured and the script improved.
  • It systematizes your business.
  • You can make a strong first impression (without blundering for something to say).
  • Prepares you for any prospect objections, questions, etc. without getting you off track.

One word of warning: Many times people who use sales scripts sound robotic and unnatural. You can still read a script and be real. And when you do both you will see an incredible increase in your sales!

That what i do personally

ROADWAY TO ONLINE SUCCESS

“Many people fail in life, not for lack of ability or brains or even courage but simply because they have never organized their energies around a goal.”-Elbert Hubbard (writer and artist)

Sometimes as a business owner, you become so overwhelmed, the only thing you can do is take it one step at a time. And, although this may get you through the week, it’s not going to help grow your business online. Real growth comes from writing out the online goals you plan to achieve–and then putting those goals into action again INTO ACTION.

Here are some “rules” to follow when creating metrics and other online goals:

Specific- Know exactly what your goal is.
Measurable- Know whether you achieved the goal.
Achievable- Speaks for itself.
Relevant- Relates to the big picture.
Time Bound- When will you reach the goal?

Did you know…only 1% of the population has written online goals? And, they earn ten times more than the rest.

If you truly want to see improvement and growth in your company, take the time to create SMART online goals. Then, be sure to make yourself and your employees accountable for those goals. Otherwise, you will always be taking it a day at a time.

Underdo your competition

clean it up

Conventional wisdom says that to beat your competitors you need to one-up them. If they have four features, you need five (or 15, or 25). If they’re spending x, you need to spend xx. If they have 20, you need 30.

This sort of one-upping Cold War mentality is a dead-end. It’s an expensive, defensive, and paranoid way of building products. Defensive, paranoid companies can’t think ahead, they can only think behind. They don’t lead, they follow.

If you want to build a company that follows, you might as well put down this idea now.

So what to do then? The answer is less. Do less than your competitors to beat them. Solve the simple problems and leave the hairy, difficult, nasty problems to everyone else. Instead of one upping, try one-downing. Instead of outdoing, try under doing. less means:

  • Less features
  • Less options/preferences
  • Less people and corporate structure
  • Less meetings and abstractions
  • Less promises

Just an idea on current economy !
